Energex Enthalpy Wheel 6 Star Efficiency

When the shaft hub on one of Energex’s enthalpy wheels failed, their primary contractor contacted CE Engineering, the experts in difficult and innovative machining and plant room repair solutions.
With the 1 tonne Enthalpy wheel being firmly fixed in place and unable to be removed, CE Engineering and Brisbane Rewinding onsite division worked hand in hand with our dedicated machine shop to come up with an out of the box innovative hub replacement solution.
The first replacement has now been operating without hitch for the past 18 months, so when a second machine failed at Cromwell Properties landmark environmental 6 star building leased by Energex and Ferrari, they had no hesitation in calling us in to engineer a similar solution to keep their highly energy efficient Air conditioning system running.

In the past, service companies had the time and resources to change compressors at their leisure. In most cases the old compressor was removed and taken to CE Engineering for re-manufacture. Current times are far more demanding and companies now demand for stock to be ready on a “one for one” exchange service. For this reason CE Engineering has increased its stock holding of compressors and spare parts to more than $3M. This stock holding ensures the compressor changeover is kept to a minimum ensuring the customer is back online as quickly as possible. In addition to general stock, customers are able to have their special compressors re-manufactured and held at CE Engineering for no charge until the unit is required. If a customer requires a spare compressor onsite, the warranty will start from the date of installation and not the date of sale. Onsite Repairs Service

CE Engineering is available to work in co-operation with any and all contractors requiring rebuilds on centrifugal chiller compressors. Our experienced team have completed multiple on site rebuilds for customers and while specialising in Trane chillers, there are no centrifugal chillers we are unable to rebuild for you.
